Time after time, I have patients that come to see me and what a certain surgery to make some body part look like a famous person. Although an attempt at approximating the appearance can be possible in a small subset of patients, it is not always the case. The biggest hurdle to achieving that appearance is that the patients are requesting cosmetic surgery to look like a celebrity that appears a certain way because the photo has been altered after the fact. Below is  a great article exposing the truths and hopefully avoiding some of the disappointment in patients when they are told that that celebrity does not look like that and that they likely will not either  after having cosmetic surgery. Remember, this is cosmetic surgery, not PhotoShop and we cannot with a scalpel do what can be done with a computer and software..
