Laser Toning

Laser Toning

img

Non-ablative laser toning with the Medlite Q-switched Nd:YAG laser improves the quality and texture of the skin through subtle heating of deep dermal layers which stimulates collagen regeneration. The result is gradual, natural results through a series of treatments which shrink pore size, improves fine lines, wrinkles and acne, and decreases the appearance of mild to moderate scars.

Laser toning has many advantages over ablative rejuvenation techniques including: no downtime, quick treatment times, minimal patient discomfort, the ability to treat all skin types, minimal to no adverse reactions or contraindications, offers the patient a relatively inexpensive procedure, and it can be combined with other cosmetic treatments.

Laser toning treatments have become popular because they produce similar skin resurfacing results as some aggressive laser peels, but with little to no healing time. Physicians are able to treat the papillary dermis without removing (or ablating) layers of the dermis.
