Question:

I am a male with protruding nipples. I would like to have them removed, maybe flush with the aerola. Is this a simple procedure and is their a ballpark price range for this procedure?

Answer:

It is a straight forward procedure that can be done in the office under local anesthesia. Stitches are removed in one week and it entlails 2 weeks of minimal lifting. Our fee for that is normally $1,000

Question:

Although I know that I have gyno, is it possible via photos for you to tell me the severity (a scale of 1 to 10 for example) , of my gyno? Also would you be able to tell me if I need only lipo or tissue removal or both? And of course, would you mind if I sent you photos? Thanks

Answer:

i can give you an estimate but without actually feeling it, it can be hard to  see the extent of it unless  the person is very thin or lean. I should be able to tell you if it is excision alone or liposuction with excision together though in a picture. You can feel free to send the photos to drgarcia@lvcosmeticsurgery.com

Question:

Hi Dr. G,

I had a weird question I guess. When I get goosebumps or brush against my areola, they no longer become puffy. They shrink and look much nicer. They look 'normal'. I want them to stay that way, but when I'm back to normal, the areola is puffy again.
Can areola reduction make the areola look like it would, when I get the 'goosebumps look'? Ty

Answer:

The areola reduction can decrease the diameter of the areola, yes, but will not make the little bumps become more prominent, it also may not take the puffiness away, just the diameter or size.
