Question:

Dear Dr. Garcia,

Does Collagen Protein:

      -   Promotes youthful skin, healthier hair, and stronger nails

      -   Improves skin smoothness

      -   Helps keep bones healthy and strong

      -   Supports joint health

      -   Contributes to a balanced diet and helps maintain weight

      -   Natural glycine promotes healthy immune, digestive, and central nervous systems

Would this be good for a vegitarian? Thank you for your time, I appreciate it :-)

Answer:

collagen is made of proteins. When you eat a collagen protein, the body has to be digested into its complements and then the breakdown products can be used by your own body to create things. What it creates cannot be controlled from the outside and the breakdown products will be used to make what the body needs. Nails and hair are essentially dead protein and that is why people on low protein diets have poor hair and nail quality. I do not think you will see any of the improvements they are touting unless you are protein deprived. Most vegetarians can get ample protein from legumes, and soy or pea protein. I see no need for that product unless you are very protein deficient.

Question:

say 10-20 mg LSD microdose on monday, wednesday, friday and 100-200mg modafinil on tuesday and thursday. I'd say they benefit in an opposite way and could complement each other. Neither can/should be done daily. Has anybody tried this?

Answer:

I could not endorse that regimen, what is the intent of the microdose LSD?
