RESTYLANE

JUVEDERM

BOTOX® COSMETIC INJECTIONS

BOTOX® Cosmetic injections temporarily remove frown lines and crow's feet.
Becoming one of the most popular cosmetic surgery treatments done in the past few years,
it can significantly relax the muscles between the eyebrows, the forehead, and
around the corners of the eyes. This relaxation can soften what are referred to
as dynamic lines, or the wrinkles that show up when animating the face. Static
wrinkles, although best treated with a dermal filler like collagen, can also be
subtly improved if there is a degree of tension in the muscle. The effects of
BOTOX® Cosmetic injections will typically last between 4-6 months, depending on the strength of the
muscle. In patients that have repeated injection, the muscle will at times
weaken so that the duration of the BOTOX® Cosmetic lasts longer. Typical treatment times
are between 5-10 minutes and are essentially painless. Results are seen as early
as 48 hours, although maximum weakening of the muscles can take up to one week.
We recommend that BOTOX® Cosmetic injections only be done in a physician’s office in
order to maintain sterility and maximum patient safety. Although there are
physicians out there that perform BOTOX® Cosmetic injections in other than the above
places, we do not recommend other areas, as there is a significant chance of
paralysis and weakness, which can be deforming.
LASER TONING

Non-ablative laser toning with the Medlite Q-switched Nd:YAG laser improves the quality and texture of the skin
through subtle heating of deep dermal layers which stimulates collagen regeneration. The result is gradual, natural results through a series of
treatments which shrink pore size, improves fine lines, wrinkles and acne, and decreases the appearance of mild to moderate scars.
Laser toning
has many advantages over ablative rejuvenation techniques including: no downtime, quick treatment times, minimal patient discomfort, the ability to

COLLAGEN INJECTIONS

Minimizes wrinkles and plumps small or depressed skin areas.
Traditional collagen injections were done with a bovine derived product, but just recently,
new human derived collagen has become available to our patients. This type of
injection does not require a test for allergy to the collagen, and typical
treatment times are 30-60 minutes, depending on the number of areas treated.

TATTOO REMOVAL
Tattoo Removal with the Medlite Laser System. The Medlite uses a light wavelength which passes through skin, but is absorbed by most
inks. The Medlite also delivers the light in very short, high intensity pulses for maximum ink destruction. The use of this specific combination of wavelength
and rapidly pulsed light results in minimal damage to the skin while providing maximum tattoo ink removal.
